⚠️ Grooming Consent & Liability Waiver – TailsGroom
By booking a grooming appointment with TailsGroom
You are responsible for giving us correct and complete information about your pet’s health, medical history, and behavior. If you don’t tell us about health problems or aggressive behavior, and something goes wrong, TailsGroom will not be held responsible.
Your groomers are trained and careful, but grooming can involve small risks. Sometimes, a pet may get a small cut or scratch, have a mild reaction to shampoo or tools, or feel stressed or anxious during the session. These are normal grooming risks, and by booking with us, you understand and accept this.
If your pet becomes aggressive or cannot be handled safely during grooming, our groomer may stop the session. In this case, partial or full charges may still apply, depending on the situation and the amount of work completed.
You are also responsible for providing a clean, safe, and easy-to-access area in your home for the grooming. If any damage happens during the grooming due to an unsafe area or setup, TailsGroom will not be responsible unless it’s clearly our fault.)
Sometimes, we may take pictures or videos of your pet before or after grooming to use for marketing or social media. If you don’t want us to use your pet’s photo, just let us know before the session starts.
Lastly, you agree that TailsGroom is not responsible for any issues after the grooming session — like skin reactions, behavior changes, or damage to your home — unless we were clearly careless or at fault.
🐾 Grooming Safety Guidelines
At TailsGroom, we always aim to make each grooming session safe, comfortable, and stress-free for your pet. Our groomers are trained professionals with experience handling different breeds, coat types, and pet behaviors. We treat every pet with care, patience, and love.
To keep your pet safe during grooming, it is important that you share the right information with us. Please tell us if your pet has any medical problems like skin infections, allergies, past injuries, or recent surgeries. Also, let us know if your pet gets scared easily, is aggressive, or has had bad grooming experiences in the past. This helps our team prepare and handle your pet gently and safely.
Since we groom pets at your home, you need to provide a clean and safe space. It should have enough light, shade, water, and a power connection if needed. Please make sure the area is quiet, and that other pets or small children are not nearby during the grooming. If the place is not safe or suitable, the groomer may have to delay or cancel the session.:
If your pet has a very matted coat, the groomer may need to shave the fur. This is to avoid pain, skin pulling, or injury. Shaving may cause slight irritation or reveal skin problems underneath. We will inform you before doing this. By agreeing to the service, you understand the risks involved.a
After the grooming, your pet may feel a little itchy or tired, or show small red spots. This is usually normal and goes away in a day or two. If the problem lasts longer, please speak to a vet and inform our team.
Please note that TailsGroom is not responsible for any medical issues, skin reactions, or behavior changes** that happen due to pre-existing conditions, lack of information, or natural grooming side effects. We also cannot be held responsible if the grooming session is interrupted or canceled due to an aggressive pet or an unsafe environment at your home.t
Thank you for helping us provide a safe, happy, and clean grooming experience for your furry friend.s
